Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wilmington, DE Area

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Wilmington, DE area. We are seeking candidates committed to helping students achieve their communication goals through expert evaluation and intervention services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Possess an active Delaware Speech/Language Pathologist License issued by the Delaware Board of Speech Pathologists, Audiologists, and Hearing Aid Dispensers

  • Hold or be eligible for an educator license with a Speech-Language Pathologist Standard Certificate through the Delaware Department of Education

  • Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)

  • Have previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school-based setting

  • Complete all required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by Delaware school districts

Applicants who do not meet the above qualifications will not be considered for this role.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students

  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
