Position Overview:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a lasting impact? We’re seeking an enthusiastic SLP-CCC to join our dynamic team in a school setting, where you’ll play a key role in helping students thrive academically and socially by addressing their speech and language needs. You’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to create an inclusive environment where every student can succeed.
What You’ll Do:

Assess and Diagnose: Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.

Personalized Therapy: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support students with diverse speech and language challenges.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to create a supportive, inclusive learning experience.

Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring every student gets the attention they need.

Progress Monitoring: Keep track of student progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

IEP Involvement: Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering your expertise to the team.

Professional Development: Share your knowledge and insights with staff to enhance the overall school environment.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

VA state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Preferred: Experience in a school-based setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
