Position Details:
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Waterford, MI
- Contract Type: School-Based
- Pay Range: $40 - $55/hour
- Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental through United Healthcare
- Support: Ongoing support from a dedicated recruiter
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills
- Work with individual students and groups to implement therapy strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and reports for student progress and therapy sessions
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan State licensure (Speech Language Pathologist) required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
