Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Washington, DC
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Washington, DC. This is a year-round, 12-month position that offers a great opportunity to work with students ages 3-22 with disabilities in a supportive school environment. The position renews annually, making it an excellent long-term opportunity for dedicated professionals.
Position Details:
- Location: Washington, DC
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Students ages 3-22 with various disabilities
- Setting: Onsite, school-based
- Duration: 12-month school year (year-round position)
- Requirements:
- CCC-SLP certification required
- DC SLP license on hand or MD/VA license (must be willing to obtain DC licensure)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Develop and implement IEP-based therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Participate in annual renewal opportunities for continued placement
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in DC (or MD/VA with willingness to obtain DC licensure)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
