Job Description:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of students? Join our team as we seek a compassionate and skilled SLP to support our students' communication needs and help them thrive academically and socially.
As an SLP, you will be working in a supportive school environment, collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to create individualized speech and language programs for students of all ages. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, including those with speech delays, language disorders, articulation issues, and other communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication goals
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
