Immediate Hire - School Based Speech Language Pathologists - Needed in Tennessee
Tusculum, TN
A school district near Tusculum, TN, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This position is open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with mentorship and supervision available for CFs. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students' communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Tennessee SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply—mentorship and supervision provided.
- ASHA CCCs preferred but not required for CFs.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them improve their communication abilities.
