NOW INTEVIEWING: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant - Kennett Square, PA
ProCare Therapy is working with a district in the Kennett Square, Pennsylvania area who is in need for a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team! Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will assist in delivering therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and helping students overcome speech and language challenges! Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing documentation regarding student progress
- Support students in developing communication, articulation, and social interaction skills
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings under SLP supervision
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and the SLP to support student success
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and Disorders or a related field
- PA State licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) is preferred
- One-to-One and Group therapy experience preferred
- Experience working with children in an school setting preferred
- Must pass background checks and meet state/local certification requirements
