Job Description:
Vocovision is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote contract role in New Mexico. This position offers the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time hours, providing speech therapy services to students through teletherapy. As a member of the Vocovision team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives from the comfort of your own home, using innovative and effective virtual platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech therapy evaluations and assessments for students in New Mexico.
- Provide individualized speech therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress as required.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure in New Mexico.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and online documentation tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education procedures.
- Passion for helping students improve their speech and language skills.
