Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Opportunity – Delaware
Hourly Compensation: $46–$51 | Full-Time & Part-Time Options | Work from Home
Contract Period: January to Spring 2025 (Extension Available)
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a real difference in students' lives while working from the comfort of your home? We are seeking a skilled professional to provide remote speech therapy services to K-12 students in Delaware, helping them overcome communication challenges and supporting their academic journey.
Job Summary:
- Hourly Rate: $46–$51 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Flexible full-time or part-time positions
- Work Location: 100% remote, conducting virtual therapy sessions
- Student Population: K-12 students with diverse speech and language needs
- Employment Type: Independent contractor (1099)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver Virtual Therapy: Provide individualized speech therapy sessions that address each student's unique needs and goals.
- Evaluate and Assess: Conduct virtual assessments to identify speech and language challenges and create tailored therapy plans.
- Collaborative Approach: Work with families, educators, and school teams to develop and implement customized strategies to support student success.
- Behavioral Strategies: Address any related behavioral issues, incorporating effective communication techniques into your therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensing & Certification: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for or active Delaware state licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in a school or pediatric setting.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using online tools (Zoom, teletherapy platforms) for assessments and therapy delivery.
