Responsibilities:
As a Virtual School SLP, you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads, covering:
- Elementary, Middle, and High School Students: Customizing speech and language therapy sessions to address the distinct needs of students across different developmental stages.
- Individual and Group Sessions: Conducting personalized therapy sessions and orchestrating group activities to foster communication skills and social interaction.
- Evaluation and Progress Monitoring: Administering comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders, monitoring progress, and adapting therapy plans as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other educational professionals to bolster students' academic and social success.
- Documentation: Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Valid state licensure as an SLP
• Minimum of two years of experience working as an SLP in educational settings
