Important: While residency in Rhode Island is not required for this role, candidates must hold licenses in both Rhode Island and their state of residence.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Must be from an accredited program that meets Rhode Island’s standards.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Required certification from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
- Licensure in Rhode Island: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Rhode Island.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in school-based settings or with pediatric clients is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with students, staff, parents, and administrators.
