Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Fully Remote - Based in Michigan
Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Grade Levels: K-12
Introduction:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our young learners. This is a fully remote position being conducted via a teletherapy platform. Please see further details and how to apply below:
Position Overview:
In this role, you will work with a district caseload to assess and address their speech and language needs. This full-time position involves conducting evaluations, providing speech therapy services and participating in IEP meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum.
- Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Michigan licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- 2 years of experience working within a school district.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
