Job Details:
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Sylvan Lake, MI
- Contract Type: School-Based
- Pay Range: $40 - $55/hour
- Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental insurance through United Healthcare
- Recruiter Support: Ongoing support throughout the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Work with students individually and in small groups to improve their speech and language skills
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous school experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
