Job Posting: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Position near Sparta, MO
We are actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a school-based position in the Sparta, MO area. The selected candidate will work closely with K-12 students to assess and treat communication disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Sparta, MO (and surrounding areas)
- Setting: School-based (K-12)
- Caseload: Elementary, middle, or high school students
- Employment Type: Full-time or part-time, depending on preference
- Start Date: Immediate or for the 2024/2025 school year
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and development.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri SLP licensure required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP certification preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
