Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Silver Spring, MD
ProCare Therapy is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Silver Spring, MD. This is a 12-month contract offering a unique opportunity to work with students ages 3-22 in a supportive and well-equipped school environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Silver Spring, MD
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Students ages 3-22 with various disabilities
- Contract: 12-month position, renewable annually
- Setting: Onsite only
- Requirements:
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Must hold or be eligible for a Maryland SLP license
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse communication needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions in individual and small group settings
- Develop and implement personalized IEP-based therapy goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
