Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – San Antonio, TX

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

Possess an active Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Hold Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

Have experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or clinical setting
-
Must pass required background checks and meet all other Texas state certification requirements
Applicants who do not meet the outlined requirements will not be considered.
Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
-
Provide therapy services to individuals and small groups to improve speech, language, and communication skills
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students' speech and language needs are met
-
Monitor and track student progress toward IEP goals and adjust therapy plans as necessary
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language-related issues
-
Provide professional recommendations for assistive technology use to support communication
