Part Time - School Based Speech Language Pathologist Needed in California
Perris, CA
A school district near Perris, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students in need of speech and language therapy. This position is open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and offers mentorship and supervision throughout the fellowship year. The role will begin for the 2025-2026 school year, with flexible hours to meet your schedule needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to create and implement effective strategies
- Monitor and report student progress toward IEP goals
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting discussions
- Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows during their fellowship
Requirements for Clinical Fellows (CFs):
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP license or eligibility (must obtain prior to start)
- Completion of academic coursework in SLP program
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children
- Desire to make an impact in the school setting
- Willingness to receive supervision and professional development during the CF year
