Immediate Hire - Speech Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Needed in California
Menifee, CA
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Menifee, CA. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing flexibility while providing essential speech and language support to students. The SLPA will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to help students improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Work with students individually and in small groups to support speech and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Support assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
- California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for helping students enhance their speech and language abilities.
