Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melrose, MA. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive educational setting for the entire school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students’ occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and execute individualized therapy plans aimed at enhancing students’ functional abilities and independence.
- Provide direct therapy services to support and improve students’ daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to promote student success.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to setting and achieving goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Dedication to creating a positive and supportive environment for students.
