Full-Time | PreK-2nd Grade | Supervised by SLP
About the Position:
ProCare Therapy is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based role in Lansing, IL. This full-time position supports PreK through 2nd-grade students (40-50 students) under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP. Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM
- Wednesday: 8:15 AM - 1:15 PM
- Caseload: 40-50 students (PreK - 2nd grade)
- Location: Lansing, IL
- Supervision: Works under a licensed SLP
Qualifications:
- SLP Assistant license issued by IDFPR
- ISBE number must be submitted with application
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong preference for elementary school experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services under SLP supervision
- Support IEP implementation and student progress tracking
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and special education staff
- Maintain documentation and compliance with school requirements
