Speech Language Pathologists - Open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs) in Kent County, RI
A school district in Kent County, RI, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This opportunity is open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows, offering a supportive and collaborative environment to help students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Rhode Island SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply—mentorship and supervision will be provided.
- ASHA CCCs preferred but not required for CFs.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
