School Speech Language Pathologist Full Time Role
Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Jefferson, GA Area
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Jefferson, GA area. We are seeking qualified professionals who are passionate about helping students thrive through effective communication and speech-language interventions.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this position, including:

Hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
-
Possess a valid Georgia Speech Language Pathology License issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship (CF)
-
Obtain GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) certification if working in a public school setting
-
Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting

Successfully complete all required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the state and local districts
Applicants who do not meet the above qualifications will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech-language assessments to identify students’ communication needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students
-
Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in compliance with IDEA and state regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
-
Support students with a variety of communication disorders including articulation, fluency, language, and voice
