Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Jefferson, GA. This role involves providing speech-language therapy services in an elementary school setting, supporting students from early childhood (EC) through grade 5. As an SLP, you will play a key role in helping students improve their communication skills, achieve academic success, and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy to students across various grade levels (EC through grade 5) in general education classrooms.

Manage a caseload of students with diverse speech and language needs.

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
-
Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language challenges.
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals.
-
Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations, tracking progress, and ensuring educational goals are met.

Support students’ social and academic development by enhancing their communication skills.
Requirements:
-
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Georgia.

Previous experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) in a school setting is preferred.

Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, and ability to create individualized treatment plans.

Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other school professionals.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for making a positive impact on students’ speech, language, and overall development.
