Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist – Supporting Students in Glendale, AZ
Location: Glendale, AZ (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12)
About VocoVision:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Glendale, Arizona. In this role, you will help students address various speech and language disorders, delivering virtual therapy to support their academic and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy services to students with communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to track student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings to offer input on speech and language goals for students.
- Assist general education teachers in modifying classroom activities to accommodate students’ speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate therapy logs and ensure compliance with Arizona’s special education guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least two years of experience as an SLP (teletherapy experience preferred).
- Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
