Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Corvallis, OR
ProCare Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position in Corvallis, OR. This role involves working with K-12 students, providing speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed SLP for the remainder of the school year (ending mid-June).
Position Overview:
- Location: Corvallis, OR
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Mid-June 2025
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Caseload: K-12 students, approximately 25-30 students
- Supervision: Provided by an SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in speech and language therapy sessions for students
- Implement IEP-driven therapy plans under SLP supervision
- Track student progress and maintain documentation
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and therapists
- Provide individual and small group therapy as needed
Qualifications:
- Oregon SLPA license required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
