We are currently seeking a talented School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students at the Early Learning Center and Gemini Middle School. This is your chance to work with a diverse caseload across preschool and middle school levels in a district that values its support staff.

- Manageable Caseload: You will be responsible for a 30-ish student caseload across two nearby school sites, allowing you to provide individualized attention and high-quality services.
- Convenient Schedule: This part-time contract offers a total of 22.5 hours per week, providing a great work-life balance. Your schedule will be at the Early Learning Center (approximately 0.2 FTE) and Gemini Middle School (approximately 0.4 FTE) with the following daily hours:
- Early Learning Center: 7:40 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
- Gemini Middle School: 8:15 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.

Job Duties of a School Speech Language Pathologist:
As a valued member of the special education team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive support for the language development of students with diverse needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) with measurable and achievable goals.
- Systematically collecting and analyzing data to track student progress towards their IEP objectives.
- Fostering strong collaboration and communication with all members of the student's IEP team, including general and special education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and parents.
- Conducting thorough speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility for services and identify specific areas of need, and writing clear and concise reports based on your findings.
Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
- Candidates must hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
