About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Chesterfield, VA! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school-based setting, helping students from Pre-K through 12th grade develop essential communication skills for academic and personal success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and modify therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
