About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team near Chester, VA! This is an exciting opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them develop essential speech and language skills to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Proficiency in technology for documentation and virtual therapy when necessary.
