Soliant has partnered with a school just southeast of Charlotte, NC to interview Speech-Language Pathologists for the remainder of the school year.
Details below:
- Part-time (3 days per week)
- Start: March 18th
- End: end of school year (late May 2019)
This is a good opportunity for SLPs in private practice looking to fill their schedules, or for SLPs looking to wind down their work commitments.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language development; diagnosing students with speech/language impediments
- Developing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs
- Providing speech-language therapy, documenting student progress, and completing paperwork pertinent to the provision of services, or to Medicaid billing
- Participating in IEP meetings, and communicating speech and language goals to student care-givers
Additional details relating to the caseload, and building assignments, will be discussed during an interview with the administrators.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC preferred
- Previous schools experience preferred
