Speech Language Pathologist (CF)- Interviewing Washington, D.C

Position Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to gain clinical experience and refine their skills in evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to receive mentorship and support while developing expertise in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy for clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in supervision sessions and clinical meetings to review cases and receive feedback.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Clinical Fellow (CF) status or eligibility.
- Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or in the process of obtaining.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
