Soliant has partnered with 2 schools in Greenville, SC and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support 1 elementary and 1 middle schools. The applicant will be at the elementary school 4 days a week, and at the middle school 1 day a week.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License
- SLP Certificate for School-based SLPs
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Determine student eligibility, and develop communication goals in line with a broader Individual Education Plan
- Present goals and IEPs to Special Education team and parents
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
