Full-Time Opportunity: Teletherapy Teacher of the Visually Impaired for the Upcoming School Year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teletherapy Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our K-12 school team full-time. This is an incredible opportunity for experienced TVIs to work remotely from home while making a significant impact on students' education!
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct teletherapy services to K-12 students with visual impairments

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success

Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, with a focus on Visual Impairments (TVI certification required)

State certification/eligibility as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Preferred:

Experience working with children with visual impairments or in school settings

Knowledge of IEP development and special education processes
