Position: Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Dallas, GA (Near Atlanta, GA)
Job Type: Full-Time
School Year: 2024-2025
Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our elementary school team in Dallas, GA, for the 2024-2025 academic year. This full-time role involves working closely with young students to improve their speech and language skills, ensuring they have the support needed to succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions customized to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- Prior experience with elementary-aged children is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
