School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Asheboro, NC
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Start/End Dates: ASAP - June 10, 2025
Caseload/Details:
- Full-time position providing speech and language services to K-5th grade students
- Adapted Curriculum Classroom setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders
- Conduct speech and language assessments, screenings, and evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
- Maintain accurate records of progress and IEP documentation
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of North Carolina
- Experience working with students in a school setting, particularly in an adapted curriculum classroom, is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans
- Compassionate, dedicated, and passionate about supporting students with communication challenges
