PreK-8 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – New Orleans, LA

State Requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists in Louisiana:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Louisiana state licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
Louisiana Department of Education certification preferred.

Job Description:

Provide speech therapy services to PreK-8 students.
Conduct screenings and develop treatment plans.
Work closely with teachers and parents to support student growth.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings.
Maintain accurate records of student progress.
