Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Anoka, Minnesota area. We are seeking compassionate and qualified professionals committed to improving student communication and language development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:

Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Possess an active Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Minnesota Department of Health
-
Hold a valid Minnesota Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement
-
Have relevant experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting
State and Local Requirements:
Candidates must satisfy all Minnesota-specific and district-level requirements:

Completion of a graduate program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Passage of the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Compliance with all requirements set by the Minnesota Department of Education and Department of Health
-
Criminal background check and fingerprint clearance through the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA)
-
Participation in district-specific onboarding and health clearance procedures
Typical Responsibilities Include:

Conducting speech-language assessments and diagnostics
-
Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Providing direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
-
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes
-
Ensuring adherence to state and federal special education regulations
