We are seeking a talented and adventurous Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a travel assignment in Soldotna, AK! As a Travel SLP, you will:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a variety of educational settings.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, and language development.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students meet their speech and language goals.

Assist with IEP development, updates, and participation in IEP meetings.

Adapt to new school environments and work with students across a variety of age groups.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.

Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
-
Work with students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
-
Create and manage individualized treatment plans and IEPs.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement strategies for speech and language development in the classroom.

Participate in regular meetings with parents, staff, and school administration.
Requirements:
-
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Alaska or the ability to obtain licensure before the start date.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.

Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to new and rural environments.

CCC-SLP certification is preferred, but not required.

Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
