School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Albany, OR
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Albany, OR. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with K-12 students, providing speech and language support for the remainder of the school year (ending mid-June).
Position Details:
- Location: Albany, OR
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Mid-June 2025
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time available
- Caseload: K-12 students, approximately 25-30 students
- Supervision: Provided by an SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with speech and language exercises for students based on IEP goals
- Support student progress through individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon SLPA license
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
