Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in Jasper, NY! This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students from PreK through 12th grade, providing essential services that help students reach their full potential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication goals
- Conduct evaluations, monitor progress, and document outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student services
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New York state licensure or ability to obtain it before the school year
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
