Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in communication disorders from an accredited program
- Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist Licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
