Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a position in San Jose, CA. The SLP will work with students in grades TK-5th, managing a caseload of 55 students. This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and requires a valid California SLP credential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades TK-5th.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to support students' communication skills and overall development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' educational and social needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in the area of speech and language pathology.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid California SLP credential.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 55 students effectively.
