Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Salinas, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in 7th - 12th grade with a wide variety of cases, including mild to moderate autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
- Perform evaluations and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current California SLP License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience with a wide variety of cases, including mild to moderate autism, preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care to students.
