Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Concord, CA. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $60 to $70 and is ideal for an SLP passionate about making a difference in students' lives through effective communication therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Direct Therapy: Provide speech and language services to students with various communication disorders, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine student needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
- IEP Participation: Collaborate with the IEP team to develop goals and strategies that support students' educational success, attend meetings, and provide necessary input.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report student progress regularly, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
- Caseload Management: Effectively manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels, ensuring students receive high-quality services.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Active California SLP licensure required.
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with school staff.
- Commitment: Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to fulfilling the full school year commitment.
