Position Type: Full-Time (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Job Overview:
We are actively seeking a skilled and compassionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Elk Grove, CA. This full-time position is a maternity leave coverage role, starting by October 7th, with the potential to extend through the remainder of the school year. The SLP will be responsible for supervising services, conducting assessments, and managing IEPs for students in grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervision:
- Oversee the implementation of speech and language therapy services while the current SLP is on maternity leave.
- Ensure that all therapy sessions and interventions are delivered according to established plans and meet the needs of students.

Assessments:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Utilize assessment results to inform the creation and adjustment of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

IEP Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students requiring speech and language services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure that each student’s communication needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a valid California SLP license.
- Experience: Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.
Work Schedule:
- Position: Full-Time
- Dates: Starting October 7th, with the potential to continue through the end of the school year.
- Caseload: K-12th grade students
