School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position - Aurora, IL
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at a middle school in Aurora, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse student population and provide impactful therapy services.
Job Details:
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Aurora, IL
Schedule: Full-Time (Approximately 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM)
Caseload:
- Middle School: Approximately 30 students (including speech-only, resource, and self-contained programs).
- Parochial Caseload: Around 22 students (limited services and reduced paperwork).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy sessions based on student needs.
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement IEP goals for students.
- Maintain documentation and provide progress reports.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Requirements:
- Active Illinois SLP License.
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
