School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Apple Valley, CA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Apple Valley, CA. This full-time role involves working with K-8 students for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, with the potential for an extended summer or next school year opportunity if the candidate is a good fit.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Apple Valley, CA
- Start Date: January 2025
- End Date: End of School Year (with potential for ESY/NSY continuation)
- Hours: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week
- Caseload:
- Age/Grade: Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Caseload Size: 55 students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with their IEPs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA CCCs preferred; CFs with strong qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Experience with K-8 students is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
