School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity – Hamlet, NC
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work in a supportive school district in Hamlet, NC. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to assist students in developing critical communication skills and achieving their educational goals.
Position Details:
- Location: Hamlet, NC
- Schedule: Full-time
- Caseload: K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support students’ communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
- Active North Carolina SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
