School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Leominster, MA
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join the team in Leominster, MA. This full-time opportunity is perfect for a dedicated professional ready to work with preschool and kindergarten students.
Position Details:
- Location: Leominster, MA
- End Date: June 13, 2025
- Caseload: Preschool/Kindergarten
- Caseload Size: Approximately 38 students
- Student Needs: AAC device support, nonverbal communication, and articulation support
- Schedule: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Hours per day: 6 hours
- Hours per week: 30 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
- Assist with communication support for students using AAC devices and those with nonverbal or articulation needs.
- Help facilitate communication development through direct therapy, play-based interventions, and classroom activities.
- Maintain therapy logs, student progress reports, and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Active SLPA licensure in MA.
- AAC experience or knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, support staff, and the supervising SLP.
- Passion for working with young children in a school setting.
