Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Bloomfield, CT
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to work in a school setting, helping students develop essential communication skills. The SLPA will work under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy sessions as outlined by the supervising SLP
- Provide one-on-one and small group therapy for students
- Track and report progress to the supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student goals
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in CT
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under SLP supervision
