Remote Speech Language Pathologist – Washington
Overview: VocoVision is partnering with a school district in Washington to fill a Speech-Language Pathologist position for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely using VocoVision's HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform, providing therapy, assessment, and support to students.
Platform and Tools:
- HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform – VocoVision
- Zoom interface
- Scheduling and Continuing Education Tools
- Assessment and Therapy tools (games, interactive assignments, digitized assessment tools)
- No storage of student data on VocoVision's platform
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
- Active licensure in Washington
- Ability to lead IEPs and conduct evaluations, with virtual support
- Strong tech skills and interpersonal communication abilities
Job Details:
- Duration: 24/25 school year
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Student Levels: K-12
- Responsibilities:
- Direct therapy for receptive, expressive, and articulation skills
- Remote collaboration with team members and parents
- Utilization of district email and IEP systems
- Conducting multi-factored evaluations
- Providing remote speech and language services
- Assisting in curriculum development and policies
- Delivering tele-services for school and community settings
- Implementing services individually or in small groups
- Planning and executing tailored educational programs
- Creating inclusive learning environments
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding goals and progress
- Attending parent conferences as needed
- Using best practices suitable for diverse student populations
- Maintaining professional conduct and adherence to policies
